ABOUT ME
Hi! I am
Iulia Pysmenna

I studied ancient languages at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine) and improved my qualifications at the University of Bologna, University of Trento, and Schola Latina (Italy). I hold a master's degree in classical philology and a Ph.D. in General Linguistics, and I have many years of practical experience in individual and group classes.
My blog is dedicated to the connection of Latin with the contemporary world, reflecting the language and different aspects of Ancient Rome's civilization in everyday life.
Whether you want to learn Latin vocabulary, read Roman originals, interpret Latin mottos, explore Medieval chronicles, or have any other specific interest, Latin will enrich your world and challenge your mind. I'm happy to offer you my lessons and courses and share my passionate interest in Latin per se, as well as an essential and international part of modern languages and cultures.
